TARANTULE

TARANTULE is a black-and-white fashion image series exploring gesture, repetition, and the physical language of mime. Photographed at the historic Beverly Estate in Beverly Hills, checkerboard, stripes, veiling, and exaggerated silhouettes move through the architecture of the house.

From a low viewpoint, elongated limbs and distorted proportions extend the figures through the frame, shifting between elegance and strangeness. The series moves between fashion portraiture, performance, and abstraction.
